Protected time for VDIs agreed

From Monday 16th February, the Trust will be implementing 15 minutes protected time for VDIs:
Time to complete these checks is a legal requirement, and the pre response checks also include learning from SIs.

There were a few areas around the VDI checks that we were not able to reach full agreement over with the Trust. We will continue to monitor these areas, with a view to asking for further changes, as necessary.
A high percentage of the patient facing staff that took part in our #putbacktheheart survey so far, told us the lack of time to complete VDIs causes them high levels of stress.

Change means doing things differently, and culture change has to start with positive action.
