EDP24 – Only 1% of East of England Ambulance Service Staff trust their Directors

Staff feel that most members of the trust’s management cared more about meeting targets than patients. Only Dr Marsh was believed to care more about patients, 68pc, than meeting performance targets, 46pc.

The UNISON survey also found that finishing late caused high levels of stress for 65pc of people, with 55pc considering leaving their jobs because of it.

The survey of 1,541 staff showed the damaging perception ambulance staff have of senior figures but Dr Marsh was believed to be trying to make the trust a better workplace by 70pc of staff.
